Don't forget to get your Sunday papers today! We have three coupon inserts this week, be sure to check that they are there before you buy. You might want to look into getting a subscription delivered to your house. The Denver Post has Sunday and Holidays delivered for less than $5 a month with auto-pay. I called this week to see if I could get 4 Sunday papers delivered and they told me you can get up to 5 subscriptions to the same address. Four papers on the auto-pay would be less than $18 a month, saving you money off the newsstand price (not to mention gas and the hassle of getting to the store to get your papers). I have not been able to verify, but when I talked to the lady in the subscriptions department at the Post this week, she mentioned that I might be able to buy the 4 day a week subscription for less than $8 a month and just get all 4 papers delivered as Sunday papers instead of one paper a day Thursday through Sunday. This would be a HUGE savings over the newsstand price. Again, I have not verified that this can happen as they couldn't find my address in the system because we don't get mail service to the house. I am planning on calling back tomorrow and getting it straightened out and I will let you know what happens!
UPDATE: One thing I have learned from couponing is that if it is too good to be true, then you have coupons! Unfortunately, the deal where she thought she could get me 4 Sunday papers delivered for the 4-day a week price instead of 4 seperate subscriptions, didn't pan out. I had to purchase 4 subscriptions. BUT it is still 50% off the price that I would pay to go to the store. Four Sunday Papers delivered is $18 a month. This week was the first week I got them and they were here before I woke up. One of the four was missing one of the two coupon inserts. I called and asked them to redeliver the paper and they said they would today, I didn't see it. I will keep you updated on whether I have anymore coupon issues!
